This project has been my biggest composite yet, and working on it was pure joy. I call it my family “tree.” The idea first came to me a few years ago, and I knew right away my big, extended family would be perfect for it. My dad is one of six siblings, and with 11 first cousins (and their growing families), our roots run deep. In July 2024, we all gathered in California for a family reunion, and I set up a photo session to capture everyone. The beautiful oak tree you see was photographed at a wedding venue just south of Houston, and then many hours—actually months—of editing turned it all into this piece. It was truly a labor of love, and worth every second.

If your family spans multiple generations, I’d be honored to create a “family tree” for you too. It’s such a special way to celebrate your legacy, and it makes the most heartfelt gift for grandparents or a one-of-a-kind centerpiece in your home.
